Seit knapp einer Woche läuft die Beta-Phase eines Updates für den Steam-Client,
wir berichteten. In den vergangen Tagen gab es immer wieder kleine Updates und Bugfixes dafür. Außerdem erschien ein Mini-Update für den Mehrspieler-Shooter Team Fortress 2. Alle Infos dazu im Changelog:
- Steam Client-Beta
- Fixed Team Fortress 2 from trying to synchronize and not launching
- Fixed IMs from popping up while in-game
- Fixed the bug that removes one character per line of copied text when pasting into a chat text entry
- Under-the-hood changes for voice chat, to support future updates
- Fixed a potential crash on shutdown in some Source engine games
- Fixed regression with install wizard creating desktop shortcuts when it was intending to create start menu shortcuts
- Fixed Steam not getting the content description information from local servers wherever possible
- Fixed being unable to view Game Info for Source-based MODs
- Fixed race condition in client CDN cache when downloading icons
- Fixed cases where dialog variables had been localized by mistake
- Changed app info request from the client to occur only every hour for inactive clients
- Changed UI-requested full app info refreshes to reschedule the background updater, so we don't do the refresh again immediately
- Reduced the number of open handles
- Fixed various asserts
- Team Fortress 2
- Fixed a bug that prevented the correct Arena stats from being uploaded
An der Beta-Phase des Steam-Client kann jeder teilnehmen. Aktiviert wird sie in den Steam-Optionen. In den nächsten Tagen dürfte die Beta abgeschlossen und das Update offiziell und verpflichtend für alle veröffentlicht werden.
